Halloween Horse Costumes
I’m a big fan of holidays. Usually I make treats, decorate the house, and get all into whatever the holiday spirit is. This year for Halloween, I kind of missed the boat. Been far too busy with other life things to get excited about the holiday… so I’ll share some pictures of me and Simon last Halloween when we were celebrating!
Doesn’t he make a great tropical guy? Last year was actually the first time I’d ever dressed my horse up for Halloween, but I’ve been enthused by all things horse costume for a long time. I hope next year we have a reason to dress up again, because look at all the cute costumes I found on various websites!

Really creative riders and tolerant horses out there! Maybe my local hunter/jumper circuit will consider adding a costume class next year? 🙂
Happy Halloween to everyone!

I love those costumes, all of them! It would be cool to that some year.

Tis the theme for a bunch of blogs today! They’re too fun not too 🙂
I just showed the nun/schoolgirl combo to the office. We’re all dying. Omg. I am SO doing that one year with my next horse!

I LOVE these!! I’m heading out to the barn this evening to help unload a new horse and pay board, I really want to somehow bring something with me for Red to “wear” 😉 I didn’t have time to buy a real costume for us, but I’m sure I can DIY something.
I think the dragon costume is awesome. Some very creative people out there.
Those are some tolerant horses!
Love all the costumes! It’s really fun if where you board they have a Halloween Party with games like we used to. Now that we’re by ourselves we don’t even bother to dress the horses up anymore. But these costumes make me want to do it again. Maybe next year…
Last year I saw a most awesome KISS costume on a Friesian!
So cool 🙂
