Photography Friday – Winter at the Farm

Photography Friday – Winter at the Farm

One of my personal goals this year was to take more photos with my ‘real’ camera instead  of my iphone… and even though that’s a personal goal I am 100% okay with those photos being horsey!

I’ve lugged ‘ol trusty to the barn the past few weekends, and spend a little bit wandering around like a crazy person with a massive lens in tow.  Crazy person or not, I really enjoy taking more photos again and am pleased with some of the results!  Here’s a photo dump of the past few weeks, but not any of Simon because I’m either riding him or he’s not feeling particularly photogenic… go figure.

  1. Seeing a naked horse with a full body clip outside at this time of year is mind blowing to me. Please send me some of your weather!

  2. Love the photos! I never used to be a fan of clipped horses; I liked how sleek their normal coats looked (in the summer, anyway). I’ve really grown to like the look a freshly clipped horse though. So sharp!

  3. Love them all!
I can never see enough photos! I really need to play with my dslr and finally figure out how to use it properly to its full advantage or cut my losses & sell it 🙁 As I’m not using it & this don’t see whu someone else shouldn’t get the option too…
