BTreatz – Chicken Fajita Taco
Contrary to what I’ve been writing lately, I don’t mean for this blog to turn into your daily dose of depression. After spending most of Saturday mourning the inevitable end of my beloved BT, I spent some time thinking about how to celebrate her last weeks with me.
In life, BT loved two things the most – Tim and food. I fell somewhere on this list after naps, sunshine, Pascale, large stuffed toys and more naps. I tell you these things not because I want you to feel sorry for me about crying over a senile Boston Terrier who really doesn’t like me all that much, but because it will help you understand what I’m going to do the next few weeks.
I’m going to stuff my little Boston full of delicious food and share the photographs on the blog.
If I can help it, BT’s last two weeks will mostly be eating & napping and because I am an over documenter of life, I will be sharing the photos here. My goal is to give her one awesome tasty meal per day. After today, I’ll share the BT nom nom photos in a secondary photo post on the blog in the afternoon. So for a while you’ll be seeing lots of extra content from me, but mostly in the form of an 18lb dog seeing how much weight she can gain before she meets her maker.
With that, I bring you the first tasty she enjoyed on Sunday… a chicken fajita taco from a TexMex restaurant I often frequent with barn friends. It’s the first stop on what I’m calling the Btreatz Taste of Texas.

I think this is a fabulous plan. She will probably eat tastier things than me! Looking forward to more pictures (hug)
Those pictures are fabulous! And i think this is an awesome plan! Just be careful what you give her – you don’t want to upset her digestive system or you will be cleaning more than piddle off the floor.
Don’t worry, I have a good idea of what she can and can’t handle food wise 🙂
Excellent! May you both enjoy. 🙂
oh my someone else is going to be super jealous!!! Photos are fabulous! 🙂
This. Is. Epic.
😀
Love this! And I especially love that capture of her eye looking at that last piece of chicken. Get it, BT!
I really don’t know how she does that considering she’s 100% blind. Maybe it’s instinct? Still hilarious for her to ‘stare down’ that last little nub!
These photos capture BT’s joy perfectly. I didn’t comment yesterday because I couldn’t find the words, but I am so glad you’re doing this and happy you’re sharing it with us.
What a great idea! Looks like she really enjoyed that fajita.
Um I want to eat that. Looks amazing!
They are delicious. Have had them several times, ha.
These are everything. What a way to go out, BT!
I think she liked it! LOL
Bless you for giving her these special meals and love for her final time here. You’re a great dog-mommy. 🙂

Best idea ever!
I think that is a wonderful idea. Looking forward to seeing the documented process!
