Go Glitz or Go Home
I’ll be honest, I have a Toddler’s & Tiaras problem. There are probably a lot of psychological reasons why I can’t stop watching this show. Figure skating flash backs? Regretting my tomboy childhood past? A general affection for all things sparkly? Or it could just be because the whole show is filled with things like this.
It started out innocently enough. I was watching another quality episode of T&T (much to Tim’s delight) when I started browsing at glitz pageant photos on my iPad. It’s kind of like going to the zoo, and seeing the “Before and Afters” is rather enlightening to say the least.
Now I am no Photoshop idiot, but while my brain should have probably gone to “Okay, that’s creepy. Let’s watching something educational now… like Gossip Girl” it instead did something like this: ”They’re just using the blur tool a lot. I can totally do this.”
That was about an hour later, and I think I have taken one of the nicest pictures even taken of me (thanks awesome wedding photographer Meghann!) and turned it into RuPaul’s new line of Madame Alexander dolls. At least I am a glitzy drag queen doll!
Just for shits and giggles, let’s see them side by side. After all, I did spend about an hour on this sucker – and you would believe it after all the Photoshopping.
This was a rather interesting… er… experiment, but for the time being I don’t think I’m going to quit my job and start photoshopping toddler beauty queens for a living. I will however, continue to watch the best show Netflix has to offer!

Hilarious! I’ve never seen this show but I am now slightly intrigued to watch! Nice editing too
i feel terrible for Honey Boo Boo Child’s teachers. I bet she’s a delight. And I bet it’ll take the better part of a Presidential administration to correct her essays.
